RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA - Police in Hinesville, Ga. have arrested a man who investigators think killed a cook at a Sonic Drive-In in Raleigh last month, authorities said.
Raleigh police say Deon Partridge, 23, of Fuquay-Varina, was the triggerman during an attempted robbery when Donald Kersey, 22, was killed Sept. 29.

Investigators believe two men entered the restaurant and herded employees into a cooler as one accomplice acted as a lookout and another waited in a stolen getaway car.
After Kersey, a father of three, was shot in the face, the robbers left without taking any money. Three suspects in the robbery were arrested earlier this month.
Partridge, who faces first-degree murder charges, was arrested Friday by an officer from the Hinesville Police Department. Details of the arrest were not available.
Partridge will be brought to Raleigh on Friday, police Sgt. Norm Grodi of the Raleigh Police Department said.
