Police try to identify body found in Macon lake

MACON - Macon police are trying to identify a man whose body was found in a lake in the downtown industrial district. <br>

People fishing at Walker's Lake saw a body floating in the ater about 5 p.m. Tuesday. The lake is located at a dumping site that was recently annexed into the city. <br>
<br>
Bibb County Coroner Ed Bond said it's too early to tell the cause of death. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
