Family gunned down near their home

SPRINGFIELD - Police in coastal Georgia are investigating the shooting deaths of a man and his son and daughter. <br> <br> A neighbor found David Brian Cribbs, 48, dead Friday morning in his pickup truck outside his Rincon home, north of Savannah, Effingham County Sheriff Jimmy McDuffie said. <br> <br> Sheriff&#39;s deputies soon found Cribbs&#39; 28-year-old son, David Brian Cribbs Jr., and daughter, 18-year-old Ashley Brooke Cribbs, in the back yard. <br> <br> Police estimated all three had been dead since Thursday afternoon. McDuffie said robbery did not appear to be a motive. <br> <br> No arrests have been made in the case. The Effingham sheriff&#39;s department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are expected to work on the case over the weekend. <br> <br> Police said Cribbs Sr. owned a towing service in Savannah and had moved to the home three months ago with his son and daughter.
