Samford whips Morris Brown

ATLANTA - Samford scored three second half touchdowns and the Bulldogs defense forced five turnovers Saturday in beating Morris Brown 20-7. <br> <br> Samford (4-3) scored the first touchdown of the game when D.J. Stancil scored from nine yards out with 6:14 remaining in the third period. <br> <br> Samford made it 14-0 early in the fourth period on a 13-yard run by Jason Ogletree before Kalley Young scored on a 10-yard run for Morris Brown (1-7) to cut the lead to 14-7 with 10:24 left in the game. <br> <br> Samford, however, got the clincher when Fred Gilliam scored on a 2-yard run with 2:17 left to play.
