Nebraska seeks extradition of two Stone Mountain residents in scam

SCOTTSBLUFF, NEBRASKA - Authorities have sought the extradition of two Stone Mountain, Georgia, residents accused of persuading an elderly woman to send them money in a sweepstakes scam. <br> <br> Police say 27-year-old Anthony Dantzler and 22-year-old Conswella Nicole Brown are charged with theft by deception in Scotts Bluff County warrants. <br> <br> Both were arrested and are being held on $20,000 bonds each. <br> <br> Kinsey says an 83-year-old Scottsbluff woman had mailed as much as $14,000 in cash to Georgia over a two-month period after receiving phone calls from a man on behalf of a sweepstakes program. <br> <br> The man told the woman she had won $210,000 and needed cash to cover fees for necessary paperwork before she could collect the prize.
