GAINESVILLE - Gainesville firemen responded to three calls Thursday night and Friday morning, all minor in nature, but, one that was apparently weather-related.

Chief Dick Taylor says that call, which came in about midnight, involved a gas leak at The Home Depot on Dawsonville Highway which was apparently caused by a frozen O-ring in the metering system.

Taylor says that about 6:00 Thursday night there was a fire caused by a electrical short in the heating and air conditioning system at the Wildhorse nightclub on Cleveland Highway.

About 5:00 Friday morning there was a fire in the hydraulics in the trash compactor system at K Mart on Dawsonville Highway.
