DEMOREST- The Piedmont College Lady Lions basketball team survived a close one Friday night with Illinois Wesleyan. The Lions won 63-61 behind Tara Cohron's 19 points, and 16 each from Jodie Thomas and Tawana Moon.<br>

Katie Cantrell led Illinois Wesleyan with 12, while Brooke Bailey added 10 points and 11 rebounds.<br>
<br>
The Lions are scheduled at Maryville College in Tennessee at 2 PM Sunday.<br>
