ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Rams completed a 14-and-2 regular season and clinched home-field advantage through the playoffs brushing off the Atlanta Falcons 31-to-13.

Kurt Warner passed for 280 yards and three touchdowns. He finished the season with four thousand-830 passing yards which is the second-highest total in N-F-L history. Dan Marino threw for five thousand-84 yards in 1984.

Rams running back Marshall Faulk became the first player in league history with four straight seasons of at least two-thousand all-purpose yards. Faulk set the record with a 21-yard catch in the second quarter and finished with 226 yards -- 168 yards on 20 carries and four catches for 58 yards.

Ricky Proehl caught two of Warner's three t-d passes as the Rams set a franchise record for victories.

Atlanta quarterback Michael Vick made his second N-F-L start and was 12-of-30 for 176 yards and one interception. The lone Falcons' touchdown came on a 96-yard kickoff return by Darrick Vaughn in the third quarter.
