Memorial services planned for plane crash victims

DULUTH - Memorial services have been planned for victims of a plane crash in northern England that killed three Georgia pilots and two business executives. <br> <br> The pilots from Epps Aviation in Chamblee died along with two executives from the Duluth-based agricultural products giant AGCO Corporation when their private jet crashed on takeoff at Birmingham International Airport Friday. <br> <br> The crew members were 51-year-old Thomas Boydston; 58-year-old Robert Norton; and 41-year-old Timothy Vandevort. <br> <br> The AGCO executives were 54-year-old John Shumejda, president and chief executive officer; and 59-year-old Ed Swingle, senior vice president for sales and marketing. <br> <br> A memorial service for Vandevort will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Perimeter Church in Duluth. Boydston&#39;s service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Epps Aviation, Hangar Number 7. The service for Norton will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Oglethorpe location of H.M. Patterson and Son. <br> <br> Services for Shumejda and Swingle will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at AGCO corporate headquarters. <br> <br> The AGCO executives were on the home after attending a management meeting at one of the company&#39;s subsidiaries in England.
