Water meeting to be held in Cumming

CUMMING - Local, state, and national water experts are expected to gather in Cumming January 18 for a roundtable discussion sponsored by Georgia Representative John Linder.

It's part of his ongoing initiative to develop a comprehensive policy on the issue.

The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce will host the meeting in its offices beginning at 1 p-m.

Assistant Secretary of Civil Works for the Army Corps of Engineers Michael Parker is among those planning to attend. He will tour Lake Lanier with Congressman Linder prior to the discussion.
