Cumming man dies in one-car accident

CUMMING - The first fatal accident of the new year in Forsyth County happened early Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff's Captain Frank Huggins says 32-year-old Shane Wray Stuart of Cumming lost control of his car while speeding about 12:15 p.m.

The impact is believed to have killed Stuart instantly although his car then burst into flames.

Twenty people died on Forsyth County roads last year.
