GAINESVILLE - Hall County Fire investigators blame a high wattage flood light bulb for a house fire Thursday just before noon.
Hall County Fire Chief Mike Satterfield says the home's owner Marla Ovalle put the 150 watt bulb into a floor lamp.
Satterfield added "Most lamps are not rated for that high of wattage; the average is 40 to 60 watts"
The fire on Bramblewood Drive was confined to the living room and caused about $20,000 damage. No one was injured.
