GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN - Green Bay has earned a trip into the next round of the N-F-L playoffs with a 25-to-15 victory over San Francisco. Brett Favre threw two touchdown passes for the Packers, who will play at St. Louis next weekend.
The victory keeps alive a pair of Green Bay streaks. The Packers have never lost at home in 13 playoff games, and Favre is 31-and-0 in starts at Lambeau Field when the temperature is below 35 degrees.
Favre was 22-of-29 for 269 yards in 28 degrees today. He took Green Bay 93 yards for the clinching touchdown in the fourth quarter. Ryan Longwell's 45-yard field goal with seven minutes left had put the Packers up 18-to-15.
Tyrone Williams then intercepted a deflected pass to set up the drive to the clinching T-D.
