Atlanta Marine squadron using Chattanooga field temporarily

CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE - Marine aviators are using the runways at Lovell field in Chattanooga while their Atlanta airstrip is renovated. <br>

The F-18's from Naval Air Station Atlanta are expected to fly out of Chattanooga until the end of next week. <br>
<br>
Aviation director Terry McDowell of Krystal South says the squadron commander picked Chattanooga as a temporary base because it's close to the East Tennessee mountains.
