Savannah St. loses to Alabama A&M

SAVANNAH - Alabama A&M built on a late first-half rally to beat Savannah State 68-57.<br>

Desmond Cambridge scored 18 points for A&M, which scored the last ten points of the first half after trailing 32-24 at halftime Monday night. <br>
<br>
Savannah State (2-14) jumped in front on Alvin Payton's 16 first-half points. The Bulldogs held him to eight points in the second half while gradually extending their lead.<br>
<br>
Payton's 24 points, including 6-of-13 three pointers, led the Tigers.
