Habersham County prison employee arrested for drugs

ALTO - A food service employee at Lee Arrendale Prison in Alto is charged with attempting to sell marijuana to inmates.

Reports say that an undercover operation involving an inmate lead to the arrest of Debbie Renee Lowery.

She has been suspended while the investigation is underway.
