ATLANTA - A suburban Atlanta woman pleaded guilty Thursday to charges she embezzled more than $700,000 to fund a business venture she launched with a troupe of nude male dancers. <br>

Janice Marie Sanders, 36, of Doraville, performed accounting duties and prepared grant requests for The National Faculty, a non-profit organization that uses federal funds to provide teachers with mentoring and training. <br>
<br>
According to charges filed against her in federal court in Atlanta, Sanders managed to get 737 checks, totaling about $715,348, issued to herself and the dance group, ``Hot Chocolate LLC,'' between February 1996 and July 2001. <br>
<br>
Sanders could get a maximum of 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000, in addition to having to repay the money she stole. She is scheduled to be sentenced March 21.
