Gilkey gets 120 days in jail, five years probation for DUI

ST. LOUIS - Former Atlanta Braves outfielder Bernard Gilkey can not drive for the next five years, part of the sentence he received Friday in St. Louis County for drunken driving. <br>

The former St. Louis Cardinal must also spent 120 days in jail and perform 500 hours of community service. <br>
<br>
Gilkey pleaded guilty in November to driving while intoxicated. He was arrested in April, one of four arrests for alcohol-related driving incidents since 1998. <br>
<br>
On the DWI charge, Gilkey was given a five-year suspended prison sentence and placed on probation for five years. <br>
<br>
The jail time comes on an additional charge of driving with a revoked license. <br>
<br>
With the Braves last season, Gilkey hit .274 with two homers and 14 RBI's in 106 at-bats.
