BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA - Chris Weaver scored 18 points and had eight rebounds and Phillip Ramelli scored 17 to lift Samford to a 63-59 win over Georgia State on Saturday. <br>

Corey Green added 13 points and Cornell Felton had nine assists for Samford (11-7, 8-2 Atlantic Sun Conference). The Bulldogs shot 45.8 percent to 40.7 percent for Georgia State (9-8, 5-5). <br>
<br>
Samford rebounded from a 31-24 deficit at halftime to shoot 54.2 percent in the second half. <br>
<br>
Thomas Terrell led Georgia State with 18 points and Nate Williams added 10 points and had 11 rebounds.
