Marietta man burned, hospitalized after fight over beer

MARIETTA - Police say a 58-year-old Marietta man is hospitalized after being burned in a fight with his girlfriend over beer. <br> <br> Charles James Edwards remains in the burn unit at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta with second- to third-degree burns. Police say employees at an office complex found him in a parking lot. <br> <br> Officers arrested Edwards&#39; girlfriend - 38-year-old Pamela Patreasa Morgan. They say Edwards told them the woman poured rubbing alcohol on him and set him on fire. <br> <br> She is being held at the Cobb County Detention Center on a charge of felony aggravated assault. <br> <br> A warrant for Morgan&#39;s arrest says the two were arguing over beer before Edwards was burned. <br> <br> Marietta police spokesman Brian Marshall says Edwards was barely able to speak when he was found. The case remains under investigation.
