Thrashers trade for goaltender

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Thrashers Thursday acquired goaltender Frederic Cassivi from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for defenseman Brett Clark. <br>

The 26-year-old Cassivi has a 6-10-4 record and a 2.50 goals-against average this season with Hershey, the Avalanche affiliate in the American Hockey League. <br>
<br>
Clark is 25. He has 20 points this season with Chicago of the AHL. He has played in 44 career games for the Thrashers, including two this season. <br>
<br>
Also Thursday, Atlanta re-assigned defenseman Mike Weaver to Chicago. He was called up for the third time this season on Monday.
