ATLANTA - Clark Atlanta, seeking new leadership for a team that went 1-10 last year, has hired former Georgia Southern and Canadian Football League star Tracy Ham as its head coach.
Ham, 37, was quarterback of Georgia Southern's Division I-AA national championship teams in 1985 and 1986. He and record-breaking rusher Adrian Peterson are the only Eagles whose numbers have been retired.
He spent 13 years in the CFL, playing for the Edmonton Eskimos, Toronto Argonauts, Baltimore Stallions and Montreal Alouettes.
