Grady L. Woodall

Grady Lee Woodall, age 64, of Cornelia, died Thursday, July 21, 2005 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Woodall was born on May 7, 1941 in Hall County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Arthur Lee and Lila Sosebee Woodall, and he was preceded in death by a brother, Rosco Woodall, as well as a sister, Grace Bryant. Mr. Woodall was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was retired from the Clarkesville Post Office and the Clarkesville Mill.

Survivors include: his wife, Ellen Fletcher Woodall, Cornelia; his children and their spouses, Ricky and Gloria Woodall of Toccoa; Beverly and David Morgan of Cornelia; Robert and Melissa Woodall of South Dakota; Reginia and John Carter of Clarkesville; 3 stepchildren; 4 brothers: Homer Woodall of Cumming; Earnest Woodall of Long Island, NY; Clyde Woodall of Baldwin; and Paul Woodall of Stone Mountain; 8 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 23, 2005 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel in Baldwin with Rev. Albert Hudson and Rev. Sidney Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 to 4:30 PM and from 7 to 9 PM on Friday.
