Violation of Code: [511-6-1.03(5)(j)1&2] Observed open Styrofoam cup beverage sitting on cutting board at steamtable. If employees have drinks in food service areas, then the employee must be drinking from a single service beverage cup with a secure lid and straw that is handled to prevent contamination of the employee’s hands, the container, exposed food, clean equipment, utensils and linens, unwrapped single-service and single-use articles. Remarks Facility operates as a risk type I but receives deliveries twice a month for the senior center grocery program. Due to this, The facility may occasionally store raw animal foods in reach-in coolers. Health Authority discussed with PIC placing raw animal foods below and separate from ready-to-eat foods when stored in coolers.
