Violation of Code: [511-6-1.03(5)(j)1&2] Observed Styrofoam cup with no lid or straw and open water bottle being stored on cutting board across vegetable prep-sink. Employee beverages may be consumed in the kitchen but they must be in a single-service cup with a lid and straw. Discussed with PIC using the top of the microwave in the closet as you enter the kitchen to store all employee beverages. COS: PIC discarded cup and bottle of water. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 4-2B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(7)(a)1] Observed ice machine with a heavy accumulation of slime. Food-contact surfaces shall be clean to sight and touch. COS: Employee cleaned ice machine thoroughly after discarding all ice. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
