With t-minus one week until I travel down to Columbus, I thought it would be appropriate to use this post, perhaps my last one, to address my fellow 2021 Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition candidates.

It is hard to believe that two weeks from today, I will be in Columbus for the first day of the 2021 Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition.

Sometimes people will ask me which is true: does my job as a reporter help me with pageants, or do pageants help me with my job?

There are four points to the Miss Georgia crown, each representing a different facet of the organization.
