Two suspected drug traffickers arrested in Alto

The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Appalachian Regional Drug Office arrested two people from Alto on Tuesday who are accused of illegal drug activity.
 
Officers conducted a search warrant at a home on 450 Harrison Trail in Alto and took Jacquelyn Delosreyes, 58, and Joey Arguiles, 27, into custody. Officers seized 70 grams of methamphetamine, 28 grams of heroin, fentanyl pills and an amount of U.S. currency.
 
These illegal drugs have a street value of $9,400.
 
Delosreyes and Arguiles have been charged with trafficking methamphetamine. Charges for the fentanyl pills and heroin are pending.
 
This investigation has been ongoing for two months.
