A house fire Wednesday morning at a home in Gainesville led to the death of a Hall County man.
According to a press release from Hall County Fire Rescue, crews responded just before 7:30 a.m. to the home in the 1500 block of Odell Street off Jesse Jewell Parkway.
The home was fully involved when crews arrived, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
Firefighters discovered the body of an adult man once they were able to enter the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man's name had not been released as of 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The Hall County Fire Marshal's Office and the Hall County Sheriff's Office are investigating the death. The cause of the fire is also under investigation.
