Correction: Football Players Shot-Verdict story

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — In a story published March 25, 2022, about a man convicted of killing a college football player in Kansas and wounding another man, The Associated Press erroneously reported in the summary the name of the person convicted on four counts of attempted murder. That person was Francisco “Franky” Mendez.
