A shooting at a Lawrenceville apartment complex on Thursday morning left at least two people injured.

Police went to the Oaks at New Hope apartments around 2:15 a.m. after multiple 9-1-1 calls about shots fired. That apartment complex is located just east of GA 124.

Officers arrived to find a vehicle behind building 5 damaged by gunfire, a pistol laying on the ground, and spent shell casings in the parking lot. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, only moments after police arrived on the scene, the local hospital reported that two individuals had arrived at the emergency room with injuries.
