The city of Braselton has announced the formation of a new Arts Council. In a statement sent Thursday morning, they say they have adopted a new Public Art Master Plan and are now forming that group to assist in the implantation.
According to a statement from the Town of Braselton, “Braselton has determined that its future will be one with public art at the center of its identity. The Braselton Public Art Master Plan lays out a vision for public art in the community that will be strategically executed throughout the entire Town.”
They add that the master plan is the framework to make that happen. It lists strategies to ensure the public art is “transformational, unifying, and is representative of the spirit of the Town.”
Any community members who are passionate about art is invited to join the new arts council.
