Two found dead in a car outside of a Lawrenceville home

Update: Police are now saying it was a murder-suicide that left two people dead outside of a Lawrenceville home. According to a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, it is believed to be the result of a domestic-related incident.

Original Story: One man and one woman were found dead in front of a Lawrenceville home on Sunday afternoon. According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, both victims were found in a vehicle parked in a driveway at 1042 Wallace Hill Ridge.

Officers arrived to the home around 3:20 p.m. after a 9-1-1 call reporting a “person shot.” That’s when police found the two victims in the car.

Both victims died from apparent gunshot wounds.

The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of the next of kin.
