Cornelia city officials will close a downtown road Friday and Monday for construction.
South Main Street will be closed from Foreacre Street to Front Street both days from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Officials said in an email statement there will be redevelopment construction, and motorists should use Front, Larkin and Foreacre Streets as detours.
