Clarkesville police seeking father who abducted toddler

By Rob Moore

A toddler has been located and is safe, and police are seeking the child’s biological father for his abduction.
The abduction of 18-month-old Jacob Chambers early Saturday triggered a Levi’s Call/Amber Alert overnight.
“Warrants have been issued for Charles Eric Chambers,” a Clarkesville Police Department statement reads.
Chambers is 5-foot-9, 210 pounds.
The lookout given is for a red 1997 Chevrolet extended-cab truck with black tailgate. The truck was bearing license plate RDP 3863.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Charles Eric Chambers should call Habersham County Dispatch at (706) 778-3911 or send a message to the Clarkesville Police Department Facebook page.
