News station: Fire shuts down I-20 in Conyers

CONYERS, Ga. (AP) — A news station is reporting that a fire at a business in Conyers has shut down Interstate 20 in both directions.

WSB-TV in Atlanta says the fire at a BioLab plant has the highway shut down for four miles between Sigman Road and West Avenue.

Conyers police say there is heavy smoke and people should avoid the area.
