Kubota Manufacturing of America Corporation has selected Carroll Daniel Construction to be the general contractor for the development of approximately 280 acres near the corporation’s current manufacturing facilities in Gainesville.
According to a news release from Kubota, the corporation plans to invest over $80 million in this project, which, once completed, will serve as the location for the corporation’s new engineering and design center.
The project will include the construction of engineering offices, workshops and testing buildings, as well as large scale grading and development of several outdoor test courses. The courses will be used for testing turf, utility vehicles, tractors and other related equipment.
“We have worked with Carroll Daniel Construction on many different projects over the years and so we were excited to see that they not only stood toe-to-toe with some of the biggest names in their industry, but that they stood out as the best option for Kubota,” said Kubota Vice President Brian Arnold.

Kubota currently employs nearly 3,000 people in the state of Georgia in areas such as manufacturing, sales, distribution and engineering.
