By AccessWDUN Staff

A Gainesville woman was one of three victims shot and killed in the city of South Fulton earlier this month.

Abigail Leeper, 23, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 21, although the Fulton County Medical Examiner did not confirm her identity, nor those of the other two victims, until this past Friday.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, South Fulton police were called to Hidden Brook Trail to investigate a shooting and a rollover car crash on Hidden Brook Trail.

A male victim, identified as 30-year-old Reginald Elston, was found shot to death in the street. Leeper and a third victim, 27-year-old Chaz Scott, were found shot to death inside the crashed vehicle.

Investigators said they believe the three victims had gone to a home on Hidden Brook Trail to visit someone when a fight started and gunshots were fired. After the shooting, police searched the home and found guns and illegal narcotics. Steven Hamilton Louder, a man who lived at the residence, was booked into the Fulton County Jail the day after the shooting and charged with three counts of murder, three counts of aggravated assault and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

An obituary for Leeper said she was a member of the Gainesville Middle School golf team. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 2014. At the time of her death, she was a junior at Miles College.
