Victims of deadly South Hall shooting identified

By AccessWDUN Staff

The man and woman found shot to death at a house in South Hall early Saturday morning have been identified as Ty Iang, 55, and Meakna Iang, 47.

Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman Derreck Booth says a family member who also lives in the house in the 5000 block of Little Doe Court near Spout Springs Road discovered the bodies in a bedroom and called authorities around 2:30 a.m.

Two of the couple's sons were at home at the time of the incident, along with the sons' grandmother.

The Sheriff's Office thinks the incident was "contained to the residence," Booth added early Saturday morning, and that the public is not at risk.  However, authorities have not commented further on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
