Overton nabs FASTRAK World Championship win at VMS

JAMAICA, Va. - Brandon Overton scored a rich $50,000 victory in Saturday night’s FASTRAK World Championship at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia.

The Evans, Georgia speedster held off Ross Bailes to take home the top prize in the 75-lap feature at the half-mile dirt track.

Overton rose to the top of the 100 drivers that competed over the weekend to win what was touted as the “Richest Pro Late Model Race In History.”

Trent Ivey came home in third, followed by Justin Williams in fourth and Logan Roberson in fifth.

Michael Brown, Mark Whitener, Dillon Brown, Ches Chester and Kyle Lukon rounded out the top ten.

The FASTRAK Racing Series returns to action on Saturday, September 28 at Kentucky’s Richmond Raceway.
