A young boy almost drowned in a community pool in south Hall County Sunday.
Hall County Fire Division Chief Zach Brackett said crews responded to the intersection of Meadowland Way and Grandview Parkway around 3:00 p.m. to a call of an unresponsive 5-year old boy.
Brackett said a lifeguard pulled the child from the water and attempted to perform CPR until emergency crews arrived.
He said the boy regained consciousness and was flown to Scottish Rite in Atlanta.
