One person is dead after a double shooting at Prescott Apartments in Duluth around 11:15 PM Saturday.
Gwinnett County Police Officer Jay Brewer said one victim was shot in the shoulder and the other in the chest. Neither was able to give police much information.
"According to one of the victims," Brewer said. "The victims were walking about the back of the community when they were approached by a dark, shadowy figure and ultimately shot."
Brewer said the victim who was shot in the chest died of his injuries early Sunday morning.
Identities have not yet been released.
Brewer said if anyone knows anything, they are asked to contact police.
