The man accused of dragging a Barrow County deputy sheriff last week was spotted and eluded officers in Baldwin Saturday morning.
“At approximately 9 this morning, our officers were dispatched to a possible location that Sam Brock had been spotted,” a social media post from Baldwin Police Department reads.
Officers located Brock at the BP station at Charley Davis Road and Ga. 365.
“The subject ran on foot and a perimeter was established but unfortunately he was able to get a ride out of the area,” the post reads.
Brock faces several felony warrants, including two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer stemming from the Barrow County incident as he fled from a checkpoint.
Anyone with information about Brock’s location or who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
