Elderly couple died days apart after three car crash in Gwinnett

An elderly husband and wife, involved in a three-car crash in Gwinnett County, died days apart from one another.
 
Michele Pihera with the Gwinnett Police Department said the crash happened 8 days ago at the intersection of Duluth Highway and Lebanon Road.
 
She said 80-year old Robert Hutchins turned left in front of a BMW and not only got hit by the BMW but also struck a Toyota trying to turn right.
 
Crews took Hutchins and his 75-year old wife as well as the driver of the BMW to the hospital with injuries.
 
Pihera said they believe Hutchins died of a medical condition Wednesday and his wife died of her injuries Saturday.
 
There's no word on the condition of the other driver.
