A Gainesville woman died when the car she rode in left the roadway and struck several trees early Sunday morning.
State Patrol Cpl. Josh Hedden says 20 year-old Justin M. Colon traveled north on Thompson Bridge Road and lost control of the vehicle, went off the side of the road, and hit several trees before his 2010 Mazda 3 overturned.
Hedden says two of the passengers, identified as Kevin Lequerique Caban, 29 years-old of Gainesville and Keishym Colon, 18 years-old of Gainesville, suffered minor injuries.
He says 23 year-old Erika Marie Torres Rivera died in the crash.
Troopers arrested Colon for failure to maintain lane, DUI, felony vehicular homicide, and other charges.
