Gwinnett County kidnap victim rescued in Alabama

By Scott Kimbler Reporter

A woman who was kidnapped from her Gwinnett County home Monday is rescued by police in Alabama.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Christopher Gray, 33, was in a home in Bessemer along with his alleged victim and ran when police closed in on the house Tuesday.

He was found later hiding in a tool shed a few miles away.

Gwinnett County Police say the 50-year-old victim was contacted through her home security system, but the line went dead during the conversation.

Gray and the victim have a history with police. Gray is facing charges in Alabama and in Gwinnett County.
