FITZGERALD, Ga. (AP) _ Colony Bankcorp Inc. (CBAN) on Thursday reported net income of $3 million in its fourth quarter.
The Fitzgerald, Georgia-based bank said it had earnings of 35 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 37 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $15.3 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $12.9 million, which topped Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $11.9 million, or $1.40 per share. Revenue was reported as $50.4 million.
Colony Bankcorp shares have increased 7.5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $15.69, a rise of roughly 9 percent in the last 12 months.
