3 arrested in Georgia escort's scheme to rob, kill customers

By The Associated Press

ATLANTA (AP) — Three people have been arrested in a scheme Georgia police say involved two escorts and an accomplice who robbed customers and killed two of them.

Georgia law enforcement agencies told reporters Monday about charges against 18-year-old Kiera Williams, her 20-year-old boyfriend Cameron Jones and an acquaintance, 21-year-old Ashanti Dorsey.

Williams is charged with murder in the death of 28-year-old Mario Rashad Edwards of Covington, whose body was found Dec. 21 in apartment in Forest Park. Police say Dorsey is a suspect as well.

Forty-six-year-old Roderick Crawford of Barnesville was found shot to death Jan. 3 in Upson County. Williams and Jones are charged with murder in that case.

Dorsey is charged with murder in the Jan. 2 shooting death of her boyfriend Dontavious Morrison, who was found in Riverside.
