ALPHARETTA, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 4, 2018--Registration is now open for the much-anticipated 2019 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), owned by the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). The destination for kitchen and bath design professionals, KBIS returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center February 19–21 and once again co-locates with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders' Show (IBS) for the sixth annual Design & Construction Week® (DCW). Both NKBA and NAHB recently extended the co-location agreement through 2026.
“KBIS 2018 saw a sixth consecutive year of growth for the show and 2019 is shaping up to build on that success,” said Suzie Williford, executive vice president of industry relations and chief strategy officer for NKBA. “KBIS is a ‘must-attend’ event that mirrors the continued growth and strength of our industry. We encourage our members to experience the momentum and energy first hand by taking advantage of our free show floor registration offer throughout September.”
“By all accounts, we are bringing a fantastic KBIS 2019 to Las Vegas this year. Several important brands are returning and, in many cases, increasing their presence,” said Brian Pagel, senior vice president, Emerald Expositions. “Additionally, we have expanded our footprint to include space in the Central Hall and a new feature called Salon by KBIS, a tented area adjacent to the South Hall. We strongly recommend attendees register early to take advantage of discounted registration and hotel rates.”
New this year, registrants can contribute online to the NKBA-supported Skilled Labor Fund which encourages and empowers young people to join the skilled trades. The fund is in partnership with This Old House Ventures’ Generation Next campaign.
KBIS 2019 promises to be an unparalleled show experience. It kicks off Monday night, February 18, with the NKBA Opening Party highlighted by the 2019 NKBA Design Competition awards ceremony. On Tuesday, NKBA launches its Voices from the Industry conference with more than two dozen CEU sessions. Three days of dynamic programming kicks off on the KBISNeXT Stage with new panel discussions on important and exciting topics like women in design, sustainability, small living and much more, moderated by industry leaders including editors from Architectural Digest, Metropolis, and Traditional Home. Stage favorites Design Bites and the Best of KBIS Awards return in 2019 and show favorite, the popular Design Milk X Modenus Talks Hub, returns to a new location.
More not-to-miss show destinations include the Discovery District, CEDIA Technology Solutions Pavilion and the DCW Outdoor Living Pavilion.
During the month of September, show floor registration is free to NKBA members and is $50 for non-members. KBIS, in conjunction with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), is an inspiring, interactive platform that showcases the latest industry products, trends and technologies. KBIS is the voice of the kitchen and bath industry and has been for 50+ years.
Early in 2013, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) announced an agreement to co-locate the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) with the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, Nev. in February 2014 under the banner of Design and Construction Week®. In 2018, both organizations extended the agreement through 2026. The mega-event returns to Las Vegas Feb. 19–21. NKBA and NAHB will continue to produce separate educational programming and special events though one pass provides access to both shows.
KBIS is operated by Emerald Expositions, the largest operator of business-to-business trade shows in the United States, with most of our shows dating back several decades.
