While no injuries have been reported, Gwinnett County fire crews have been busy dealing with a house fire and trees down during Saturday morning's storms.
According to an email from Captain Tommy Rutledge, the fire occurred in the 1600 block of Primrose Park Road NE in Buford. Rutledge said in a press release firefighters found a fire in the attic of the home after the caller advised the breakers tripped in the house during the storm and they smelled smoke. Crews arrived shortly after 7:15 p.m.
No damage extent was available.
Trees were also downed in the area, including in the 5500 block of Rockbridge Circle, NW in Lilburn, 1100 block of Danube Trail, NE in Buford, 2500 block of Cardinal Lake Circle in Duluth, and 1845 block of Suwanee Valley Road, NW in Lawrenceville.
