Hall County woman charged with stabbing her husband

A Hall County woman will face charges after deputies said she stabbed her husband Wednesday morning.
 
Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman Derreck Booth says deputies arrived to the home on Jasmine Court just before 8:00 a.m. to find 58 year-old Oscar Acevedo-Avalos being taken to the hospital with serious stab wounds.
 
Investigators say his wife, 55 year old Cecelia Acevedo was also transported to the hospital with non life-threatening wounds, but they believe she turned the knife on herself after stabbing her husband.
 
Booth says two children, ages 5 and 16, were asleep in the home during the incident and there is no known motive for the stabbing.

Cecelia Acevedos will face aggravated assault charges once she's released from the hospital.
